Product Description

We took the world’s best turning radius and smoothest deceleration JP100S and added Softcapture ® technology. Approach and capture with no straps and no contact with the landing gear. Capture is as simple as two arms gently wrapping around the tires, locking and lifting in one smooth action.

Standard Features:

  • Connect to the aircraft nose landing gear without leaving the operator station
  • All contact is made on the nose landing gear tires only, no contact or straps on the oleo strut
  • Automatic oversteer protection sensors
  • Dual, 10 hp motors on the front tractive wheels are “independently” excited and provide a few benefits
  • Reversing the inside wheel and speeding up the outside wheel creates the best turning radius, virtually eliminated wingtip shift
  • Capture and spot aircraft with only one approach.

Softcapture ® Safety Features:

  • Oversteer protection
  • Throttle speed limit safety switch reduces speed when approaching the aircraft with cradle down
  • Forward motion safety switch disengages the throttle when the forward motion safety bar contacts the aircraft nose tire preventing the operator from pushing on the nose tire
  • The gate lock and cradle locator safety switch locates the cradle and stops the “cradle down” movement when the cradle is lowered to the ground. The gate lock prevents “cradle open” movement when the cradle is up
  • The parking brake release safety switch allows the JetPorter to “roll” during capture so the aircraft doesn’t move, the hydraulic foot brake remains functional at all times
  • Controlled acceleration and deceleration foot pedal operated throttle
